About Us
The Canadian Association of Rwandan Youth (CARY) was formed by a group of young Rwandan professionals in 2011. As a grassroots organization, CARY was created to support the needs of Rwandan youth in Ottawa, Ontario through the provision of responsive and inclusive programming.
A second chapter of the association was formed in Toronto, Ontario in 2012 and incorporated as a non-profit on January 26, 2017. While helping Rwandan youth create life-long relationships through networking within their local communities and across the diaspora, CARY is committed to supporting and encouraging youth to reach their full potential.
